Care: Shake and/or vacuum occasionally to remove dust and debris. In the event of a spill or stain, mix wool-specific detergent with warm water to produce foam. Using foam only (do not soak or submerge sheepskin in water), work the foam over the affected area and pat dry with a clean cloth. Shake and leave to dry, finish with a combing. Alternately, item can be dry cleaned.
The sheep are raised using traditional free-range Icelandic shepherding practices. The hides are tanned without the use of harsh chemicals, following strict EU directives for environmental preservation and protection.
